The Parrish Museum will host Artists Choose Parrish, with a reception and conversation by artists Alice Aycock and Amy Oppenheim, as they discuss their connections with Dennis Oppenheim—whose work is on view in Artists Choose Parrish, Part II. Aycock and Oppenheim will be in conversation with Corinne Erni, Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Chief Curator, Art and Education. The landmark exhibition honors the East End’s rich artistic legacy and brings greater attention to major artists practicing here today. Forty-one renowned artists with deep local roots were invited to select works from the collection to be shown along with their own, offering new perspectives and interpretations of the Parrish’s permanent collection.
